These terms apply to your use of Lawyers-and-Solicitors.com, which is run by Dot Solutions ("we", "us"). By using the site, you accept them.
The directory is not legal advice
We list solicitors and law firms to help you find one. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we do not recommend, endorse or vouch for any firm listed. Listings are not checked by us and may be out of date. Before instructing a solicitor, confirm they are authorised with their regulator, such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Ratings
You may rate a firm only if you have used it, and only once. Ratings must be honest. We may remove ratings that appear false, duplicated or made to manipulate a firm's score.
Accounts and listings for law firms
If you create an account to manage a listing, you must be authorised by the firm to do so and keep the details accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may edit, suspend or remove a listing or account that is inaccurate, misleading or breaks these terms.
A basic listing is free. Premium extras are sold as a yearly subscription, paid through PayPal, which renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; premium then stays on until the end of the year you have paid for. The price and what is included are shown before you pay.
Links to other websites
Listings and adverts link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Using the site
You must not misuse the site, for example by copying the directory in bulk, using automated tools to collect its contents, or interfering with how it works.
Our liability
We provide the site "as is" and do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from relying on a listing, or for the services of any firm listed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in Ireland, you may also have the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions about them can be sent to lawyers-and-solicitors@gmail.com.
